Jose Angel Perez, 61, Fellsmere
Jose Angel Perez, 61, of Fellsmere, passed away on Aug. 20, 2020. Jose was born in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on May 31, 1959, to Antonio and Maria Perez.
Jose married Rosana Perez, on Sept. 3, 1982, and they have been together for 38 years.
Jose is survived by his father; his wife, Rosana; his children, Jovana Pena, Roxana Espinoza, Jessica Perez and Jose A Perez Jr., 11 grandchildren, Audalys Pena, Aaron Pena, Cristian Espinoza, Yailyn Espinoza, Yahir Espinoza, Jaime Gamez Jr, Chantel Gamez, Adan Perez, Danzel Perez, Illiana Perez and Miranda Perez; and his three brothers and four sisters.
He is predeceased by his mother, Maria Gonzalez.
Jose Angel worked as a construction supervisor at Hulks Concrete. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family by doing cookouts and he loved to dance.
He enjoyed taking his grandkids fishing and walks in the park. When he wasn’t spending time with his grandkids, he was enjoying time with his siblings.
He was the light of the family. He left a lasting impression to anyone he crossed paths with. He made everyone feel like family and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
The viewing will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian from 4 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Fellsmere, at Noon, with Father Sabas Mallya, celebrant.
Interment will immediately follow the Mass at Sebastian Municipal Cemetery, Sebastian.
