INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Three people were seriously hurt in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
The crash, involving a red Toyota and a grey Toyota, happened at 8:46 p.m. at Oslo Road and 27th Avenue, FHP spokesman Lt. Yanko Reyes said. The driver and passenger in the grey Toyota, a man and a woman, were taken by ambulance to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce, Indian River County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Roger Dion said.
The driver of the red Toyota, a woman, was also taken to Lawnwood.
The three patients have serious, but non-life threatening injuries, Dion said. Troopers will investigate the cause of the crash.
