Less than a week after a home was invaded by masked gunmen, Port St. Lucie Police have identified and arrested three suspects.
The home invasion occurred on May 28, shortly before 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Prima Vista Boulevard, in the Swan Lake neighborhood. The victim reported that multiple men wearing masks and carrying guns broke in the front door and ordered everyone to the ground.
The robbers then stole what was described as a “large amount” of cash and then fled in a newer model, dark colored 4-door sedan. No injuries were reported during the incident.
Not 24 hours later, police arrested two suspects and, a few days later, nabbed a third. The suspects are identified as Toussaint Buneko Hamilton, 25, of the Oak Hammock neighborhood, Kristoff Akeem Taylor, 23, of Swan Park, and Manuel Nicholas Montoya, 19, of Jupiter.
Detectives continue to investigate the case and encourage the public to step forward with any additional information that might help. Those with information can call Detective Giaccone at 772-807-4401 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273 TIPS.
All three men face charges that include home invasion robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and grand theft between $5,000 and $10,000.
