The Sunrise Rotary Club of Vero Beach hosted another finger-lickin’-good Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest, drawing crowds of people who strolled all along Royal Palm Pointe to help fund the charitable projects of the nonprofit.
Music at both ends of the street, bold chicken wing flavors, craft brews and a new cornhole tournament brought the community together for a day of family fun. This year’s First Place Wing winner was Davila’s, followed by Big Shots, which earned Second Place and also walked away with the Spirit Award. Pepper and Salt came in Third Place, and South Beach Pizza 2 was the People’s Choice winner. Sunrise Rotary, whose motto is ‘Service Above Self,’ focuses on initiatives that support the young, the elderly and the environment.
Meetings are held at 7 a.m. on Wednesday mornings at the Riverhouse. For more information, visit SunriseRotaryVeroBeach.org.
