Santa set sail during the annual Moorings Yacht Club Christmas Lighted Boat Parade, which festively celebrates life on the water during the holiday season. Residents and their families gathered along Cutlass Cove, listening to live choral music and sharing cookies and cider while they waited for the illuminated flotilla to arrive.
As the procession commenced, captains motored past with vessels of all sizes rigged in holiday lights that dazzled the crowd. The glittering armada lit up the lagoon, decked out with twinkling lights and festive characters ranging from reindeer to flamingos and everything in between, spreading seasonal cheer from stem to stern, in a testament to the community’s joyful waterfront lifestyle.
