Charles Michael Lindsell, 71, Sebastian

July 1, 1954 – December 25, 2025

On December 25, 2025, Charles Michael Lindsell, age 71, of Sebastian, Florida, formerly of Highland Mills, New York, peacefully entered into eternal rest. Charles—known lovingly as “Charlie” to his friends and family—was born on July 1, 1954, in Yonkers, New York, to Lillian Patricia Lindsell (McGeough) and John Regis Lindsell.

Charlie retired 9 years ago after many successful years in the plastic scrap industry. He helped found JCS Distribution in 1992, and built the company on his strong work ethic and determination. One of his proudest accomplishments was fulfilling his lifelong dream of opening an Irish pub, Charlie’s Pub in Highland Mills NY, where he welcomed countless friends and created a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The pub became a place where friendships were formed, and Charlie’s passion for hosting was evident in the open mic and comedy nights that brought people together.

Charlie was an avid sports fan who followed the New York Giants, had a passion for reading in his recliner, and loved to travel. Earlier in life, he treasured summer vacations with his whole family in Vermont, Wildwood Crest NJ, and Sunny Hill Resort in upstate NY, to name a few. Later, he explored the world on cruises with his wife, creating cherished memories together. He also enjoyed dining out and sharing laughs and conversations with those around him. Charlie was a past president, secretary and trustee for the Sebastian Inlet Aerie #4067, a role that reflected his commitment to his community. His warmth, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Charlie is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Carolyn Lindsell (nee Corkey); his beloved daughter, Dawn Lindsell-Aniello (Nick), his grandchildren Kyle, Matt, and Connor; his sisters, Colleen Hauser (Jimmy) and Sheila Ebert (Chuck); and his brother, Brian Lindsell (Carole). He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved son, Michael Charles Lindsell.

A celebration of life will be held on January 24 at 5 pm at the Sebastian Inlet Aerie #4067, 9606 Trade Center Drive, Sebastian, Florida for family and friends to honor Charlie’s memory.
