An all Santa-suited throng of nearly 700 people flooded 14th Avenue, as runners, ages 4 to 80, sprinted through the quick course during the recent, annual Run, Run Santa 1-mile race.
The sea of red Kringle-clad participants started at Pocahontas Park, each hoping to beat their own and past runners’ times. Those with extra holiday energy, enrolled in Vero’s race as one leg in the Vero to Viera Santa Challenge. With a bit of Christmas magic, some participated virtually.
Proceeds garnered locally supported the Buggy Bunch.
