The Heritage Center wants to invite the community to two events on November 19.
The first is a walking tour of historic Downtown Vero (14th Avenue). This starts at 10 a.m. and will last about 90 minutes. This tour will describe the very beginning of the watery town and give some history of the pre-Columbian Indians who roamed here 12,000 years ago. Cost is $20.
Walkers meet at the Heritage Center, 2140 14th Avenue at 10 a.m.
Later in the day, the second event is the second of our Blue Grass music events, featuring the Penny Creek Blue Grass Band. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. It is free with a cash bar. A 50/50 raffle will support the Vero Beach High School Band. Underwritten by George E. Warren, LLC, these Blue Grass concerts will continue every month until May 2026.
