Did you know that YSF has a longstanding program to accept donated boats. This program has generated significant in revenue over the last ten years. Every dollar has been reinvested in our junior sailing programs where fifty percent of our sailors are from underserved homes and sail free.
We have an experienced team that will handle all the details of the transaction. We can pick up the boat or accept your gift at our facility in Vero Beach. We will handle all the paperwork including transfer of title and registration.
YSF is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation. Your gift may qualify for a federal income tax deduction. YSF will send you a tax appropriate thank you letter that will enable your tax preparer to take full advantage of the law.
If you have a boat worth $5,000+ that you would consider donating, please call our office at 772 492-3243. We will have one of our donation experts get in touch with you. Gifting your boat to YSF relieves you of the hassle of selling it. One call, and we’ll take the boat off your hands and handle all the details.
Your gift provides the satisfaction that you are helping a child experience the joys of sailing. Sailing is experiential learning at its best. It requires focus, perseverance and resilience. Lessons learned on the water are brought ashore as the basic building blocks of life. Learning to sail is a challenge. With success self-confidence sours helping a child achieve their full potential.
