Glynn Philip Harp, 88, Vero Beach
June 24, 1937 ~ September 18, 2025
Phil was a son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Glynn Philip Harp, 88 years of age, died September 18, 2025, at VNA Hospice House. He was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.
He was born on June 24th, 1937, in Vero Beach, Florida.
Phil graduated from Vero Beach High School, Class of 1956.
After graduation he spent some time in New York before entering the United States Army.
Phil served in the US Army during Korea. Many times, he was told “Thank you for your service”, he always said he would gladly do it all again.
He became the first licensed Master Plumber in Indian River County. He started Harp Plumbing with his son Greg and later named the company H & H Plumbing. Retired to travel on his motorcycle. He and Dorothy did a lot of traveling. They rode from Vero Beach to Niagara Falls on his motorcycle. The Pacific Northwest was one of his favorite places to visit.
Phil is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Baker. His daughter Stacy Regan, son Greg Harp (Lana), brothers Bobby Harp and Steve Harp (Lenore), stepson Nick Kramer (Holly), and stepdaughter Lori Bentley (Jonathan). Phil had nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Phil is predeceased by his parents Glenn and Lillian, stepmother Jeanette Harp, son-in-law Victor Regan, and stepdaughter Kelly Kramer.
A Funeral Service will be held at the First Methodist of Vero Beach on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, beginning at 10:30am.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach in Phil and Zoey’s name. He rescued her and she was his loyal companion for 13 years.

Barbara Ann Tolander, 74
April 18, 1951 ~ September 23, 2025
Barbara Ann Tolander went home to be with God on September 23, 2025 in Stuart, Florida, surrounded by her family, after battling a long illness. Bobbie, as she was known by all who knew her, was born April 18, 1951. She was the daughter of David and Barbara Gardner of West Hartford, Connecticut. Bobbie graduated from Central Connecticut State Collage with a BS in Education in 1973. After some years, she moved to Maine in 1987, serving as a professional substitute teacher, Kindergarten through High School, in the Augusta, ME area for her entire career. Bobbie loved teaching so much she also taught Adult Literacy and English as a second language.
Bobbie married her husband, Rev. Dr. Stephen M. Tolander in 1979. Bobbie loved to sing and when husband Stephen went to Togus VA Medical Center as Protestant Chaplain in 1987, she served as a volunteer and soloist until his retirement in 2008.
In addition to her loving husband of 46 years, she is survived by two sisters, Linda O’Connell of Burlington, CT. and Susan Gardner of Polson, MT. She is also survived by a stepdaughter, Stephanie Kuhlman of Fort Pierce, FL., and step grandchildren, Joel and Noah.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1850 6th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
She will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

Catherine Neglia, 85, Sebastian
February 28, 1940 ~ September 23, 2025
Catherine Neglia, age 85, passed away at her home in Sebastian, Florida on September 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 28, 1940 in New York, New York to the late Dominic and Josephine Mauro.
Ms. Neglia and her husband relocated to Sebastian, Florida over thirty-five years ago.
Catherine was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Salvatore F. Neglia; sons, Salvatore, Jr. and Anthony Neglia; daughters, Donna Skelly and Connie Voght; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren with two on the way; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Augustine Mauro, Diane Splina, Dominic Mauro, Jr. and Anthony Mauro.
A Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 U.S. Rte 1, Sebastian, FL 32958.
