Faith in Florida and NAACP Indian River County Announce Community Forum on Impacts of the “One Big Beautiful Bill”

Vero Beach, FL — Faith in Florida, in partnership with the NAACP of Indian River
County and local community partners, will host a nonpartisan public forum to
educate, engage, and empower residents around the impacts of recent legislative
changes in Florida and across the nation.

The Indian River County Community Forum will be held on:

Date: Tuesday, August 26, 2025

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: Gifford Youth Achievement Center, 4875 43rd Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32967

This important gathering will bring together elected officials, community leaders, policy
experts, and residents for a candid conversation on the One Big Beautiful Bill and its
far-reaching effects on immigration, public education, and social programs. Panelists
will unpack these issues in plain language and respond directly to questions from the
community.

“Our goal is to ensure that residents are not only informed but also equipped with
actionable steps to protect and strengthen our shared future,” said organizers from Faith
in Florida and the NAACP of Indian River County.

The forum will also include clear opportunities for residents to take action—through
outreach and direct engagement with decision-makers. Organizers emphasize that the
event is nonpartisan and open to the entire community.
