Morning Star Church is pleased to host The Esther Project Shop on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 9:30-1:30. The Esther Project Shop is a nonprofit that provides artisans in Africa with a sustainable income to reduce the risk of human trafficking. Come shop the selection of handcrafted jewelry, gifts, toys, fashion and home accessories made by artisans in Africa and purchase with purpose – help reduce the risk of human trafficking.
Did you know that child labor and human trafficking In Kenya are among the highest rates in the world. The Esther Project Shop was established with five artisans in Kenya in 2020 and currently serves nearly 300 artisans. The ministry also partners with a home for children who were rescued from child trafficking, as well as two schools serving about 900 children total.
Come between 9:30 and 1:30 on Saturday, Sept. 13 to hear about this wonderful project and to purchase with purpose!
