Veterans Council of Indian River County 6th Annual Clay Shoot Fundraiser

(VERO BEACH, FL) Indian River County, FL — The Veterans Council of Indian River County is proud to announce its 6th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot, an exciting fundraising event bringing together community members, veterans, and supporters for a day of camaraderie and competition in support of local veterans.

This year’s event will be held on October 11th, 2025, at Vero Beach Clay Shooting Sports, offering participants a chance to enjoy a thrilling day of clay target shooting while directly contributing to programs that serve veterans in need throughout Indian River County. The event will include breakfast and lunch, event t-shirt, clays and trappers, as well as raffles and awards for top shooters and teams.

“Each year, our Clay Shoot grows in impact and participation,” said April McCoy, Executive Director of the Veterans Council. “The funds raised go directly toward providing vital services such as emergency financial assistance, case management, and transportation for our local veterans. It’s a meaningful way for our community to stand beside those who have served.”

Registration is now open for individuals and teams, with sponsorship opportunities available for businesses looking to support a worthy cause while gaining valuable community exposure. We are grateful to this year’s Silver Sponsor, Florida Power & Light, and our Bronze Sponsors, George E. Warren, LLC and Treasure Coast Hospice, for their generous support of our mission.
