Also at the ELC, those looking to combine fitness with the tranquility of water can sign up for Dolphin Drift: SUP Yoga, a 60-minute yin-inspired yoga class held on stand-up paddleboards. The session is perfect for beginners and emphasizes deep relaxation and gentle movement while floating on the calm waters of the lagoon. Each session begins at 9:30 a.m. and allows for two hours of time with the boards, so participants have ample time to paddle before or after class. Dates for the summer series include June 14, with additional sessions scheduled for July 19 and July 26 and Aug. 2, Aug. 16 and Aug. 30. The cost is $45 per participant. While attendees are encouraged to bring their own boards, the ELC does offer a limited number of paddleboards for rental at an additional $35 each. Pre-registration is required.
