Jill Elaine DeAquair, 82, Vero Beach

November 20, 1942 – March 5, 2025

Jill Elaine DeAquair, age 82, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 5, 2025.

Born in Columbus, Indiana, on November 20, 1942, Jill was a loving mother, devoted daughter, and cherished friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doloros Baker; her father, Harold Baker; and her brother, Harold “Hal” Baker.

Jill is survived by her daughter, Stephanie DeAquair; her son, Stephen DeAquair; her daughter-in-law, Leasa Nanney; as well as her brothers, Greg Baker and Mark Baker, and their families. She leaves behind many loved ones who will miss her deeply.

For 30 years, Jill worked as a legal assistant, retiring in 2009. She was known for her dedication, professionalism, and warmth. In retirement, Jill enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, often spending time at the beach, listening to the soothing sound of the ocean, and traveling. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her time with family and friends, who were her greatest joy.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Jill’s name.

Olga Theresa Cadet, 81, Fort Pierce

October 13, 1943 – March 17, 2025

Olga Theresa Cadet, 81 of Fort Pierce, FL and Newburgh, NY passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Pedro and Daniela Hernandez on October 13,1943 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Olga completed her high school education in 1961 in New York City.

She married Ron Cadet in 1984 and they lived together in Haverstraw and Newburgh, NY. They later retired and traveled between Newburgh, NY and Fort Pierce, FL

Olga worked as a food service supervisor for Letchworth Village Developmental Center (DDSO) until she retired in 2010 after thirty years of dedicated and faithful service to the NYS. She enjoyed working and visiting with the clients she served and took a special interest in their care.

Olga is survived by her beloved husband Ron; daughters Lizabeth (Ernesto-deceased) Espinoza of Ft. Pierce; Lilith (James) Fortini of Vero Beach and her son Louie (Vivian) Carlo of Ft. Pierce; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-3pm, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Andre Guilliano, 92, Vero Beach

June 27, 1932 – March 13, 2025

Andre Guilliano, 92, of Vero Beach, Fl., died Thursday, March 13, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born to the late Andrew and Dorothy Guilliano on June 27, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA. Andre graduated from Kent School, CT in 1950 and received his BA in English literature from Dartmouth Univ. in 1954. He enlisted and served in the US Army 1954-1958, entering the Defense Language school in Monterrey, CA where he learned Finnish before embarking to Germany. He served in the US Reserve from 1958 thru 1963.

In 1960, Andre married his wife Miguelina “Nena” in Caracas, Venezuela, marking the beginning of their 64 — year union. He became a successful independent business owner and entrepreneur, representing hardware firms and co-owning an epoxy manufacturing site.

Andre is survived by his wife Miguelina of Vero Beach and his three children, Shirley of Ellijay GA, Evelyn of Parkland, FL, and Andrew of Vero Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sisters and grandson Danny Lopez.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Crestlawn Cemetery, 1216 14th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Paul J Michaloski, 78, Vero Beach

June 16, 1946 – March 22, 2025

Paul J Michaloski, 78, of Vero Beach, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away Saturday March 22, 2025.

Born in Nanticoke PA. Paul served 6 years in the US Navy Reserve in the Naval Security Group. He received his BS in Accounting from La Salle University (Philadelphia PA) and MBA from Florida Atlantic University. Paul worked as a CFO for  several companies.

Paul is the son of the late Joseph and Jennie Michaloski, also is preceded in death by brother Richard.

Paul was the husband to his devoted wife who was also the love of his life, Pamela (Pam).

Paul was a thoughtful and kind person who loved the outdoors, ocean, scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, fine wine, and extensive travel.  He loved dogs, fostered and adopted many Dalmatians throughout the years. For the last 6 years,  Buddy (Paul and Pam’s current Dalmatian) was always found either on Paul’s lap or by his side, truly his best friend.

Paul was very proud of his Polish Heritage. He loved listening to Polish polkas which were reminiscent of his childhood spent with his grandparents in Nanticoke, PA listening and dancing in their kitchen to the accordion music played by his Grandfather Anthony Szymborski. Paul was a member of the Vero Beach Polish Club and St. Helen Catholic Church Vero Beach.

Paul will be sadly missed by his family, extended family and many friends.

He is survived by loving wife, Pam and sister, Susan (NJ), several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 from to 5-7 p.m. at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home 1950 20th St Vero Beach FL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church  2000 20th St Vero Beach, FL. Interment at Crestlawn Cemetery located on Old Dixie Hwy Vero Beach FL.

In lieu of flowers, please make  donations to the Vero Beach Humane Society or an animal organization of your choice.
