Vero Beach Art Club Awards 2025 Student Scholarships

Vero Beach, FL – The Vero Beach Art Club (VBAC) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Student Scholarship Awards. Each year, the VBAC provides scholarships to outstanding students pursuing careers in the arts. This year, two talented students have been selected to receive this prestigious award in recognition of their artistic excellence and dedication to their craft.

The 2025 scholarship recipients are:

  • Summer Flinn, a senior at Sebastian River High School, whose career goal is to become a cinematographer and photographer. Summer has been accepted into three colleges, including the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia.
  • Betsy Perez, a senior at Vero Beach High School, who aspires to be an animation and character designer. Betsy has been accepted into the University of Central Florida (UCF) and will continue her artistic studies there.

Each recipient will receive a $2,000 scholarship to support their education in an arts-related field. The funds will be sent directly to the financial aid office of their chosen college or university to assist with tuition, books, or required class supplies.

“The Vero Beach Art Club is honored to support these talented young artists as they embark on their creative journeys,” said Britney Melchiori, VBAC Communications Manager.  “We were incredibly impressed by their artistic vision and dedication, and we are excited to see how their futures unfold.”

The VBAC remains committed to fostering the arts in the community by providing scholarships, outreach programs, and artistic opportunities for students and emerging artists.
