Gallery 14 welcomes Beth-Anne Fairchild with a show entitled: ‘MAGIC AND MYSTERY: Paintings by Beth-Anne Fairchild. The exhibit , which will feature new oil paintings by Beth-Anne, a former artist-owner at Gallery 14 until moving away, will run from April 1-25. There will also be a Reception with the artist in attendance on Friday April 4, 5-8pm, as part of the First Friday Gallery Stroll.
According to Beth-Anne : “I look at everything in life as though I were going to paint it. Shadows, color, subject matter, and how I can kick it up a notch! Beth-Anne grew up in Vermont surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, but did not start painting until well into her forties and living in Florida. She has won numerous awards and her paintings are collected internationally.
Featured, as well, will be watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, mixed media, assemblage, collage, sculpture, art glass, ceramic, and jewelry by Gallery 14 owners-artists: Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Barbara Landry, Jessica Leto, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, Evan Schwarze and Dorothy Napp Schindel, as well as represented artists Walford Campbell, Jim Cohoe, Melanie Denison, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Mia Lindberg, Viola Pace Knudsen, Francis Mesaros, Michael Robinson, Carol Staub and Jo Zaza.
