Impact 100 Indian River Announces 2025 Finalists for $100,000 Grants

VERO BEACH, FL March 5, 2025 – A packed house of 200 members and guests erupted in applause as Impact 100 Indian River announced the seven nonprofit finalists competing for this year’s four $100,000 grants.

The energy at The Vero Heritage Center on March 5 was electric during the highly anticipated Meet the Finalists event, where attendees learned which nonprofit organizations are advancing in the grant selection process.

“These projects each represent bold, transformational initiatives aimed at strengthening our local community,” said Suzi McCoy Shriner, president of Impact 100 (IR) Indian River. “They reflect the heart of our mission – funding initiatives that create lasting change in Indian River County.”

She thanked the generous members of Impact 100 who make it possible for these nonprofits to tackle critical issues, from youth development to crisis intervention, healthcare access, and disaster relief.

2025 Impact 100 Indian River $100,000 Grant Finalists:

“These finalists were rigorously vetted by 55 dedicated grant panel volunteers,” explained Shriner. “This ensures that each organization is well-positioned to execute its proposed project, sustain its impact beyond the grant period, and effectively manage a $100,000 investment.”

At the upcoming Annual Meeting on April 16, 2025, Impact 100 members will hear presentations from each finalist before casting their votes to determine the grant recipients.

“This rigorous vetting and voting process sets Impact 100 IR apart from other funding agencies in the county,” Shriner added. “Our process guarantees that every grant dollar goes to projects our members believe will have the greatest transformational impact in our community.”

Shriner extended appreciation to Diamond Sponsor, Beth Livers of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, for her unwavering support of Impact 100’s mission. She also recognized and thanked the Impact 100 IR Honorary Directors as Gold Sponsors for their generous contributions in making this year’s grants possible.
