Epicureans savored the culinary talents of Treasure Coast restaurants during the 2025 Golden Fork Awards at Celebration Grove, hosted by Treasure Coast Foodie blogger Thomas Miller.

Ten restaurants created a smorgasbord of fine fare, recreating the top 10 dishes Miller had sampled over the past year, including savories such as a Meatball Sandwich, Poke Bowl, Ground Beef Enchiladas and Beef Rib Sushi, and sweets such as a Lemon Tart and Coconut Cream Pop Tart.

Participating restaurants included Armani’s Cucina, Butter Cup Bakery Cafe, Counter Culture Beachside, Dinner Revolution, Giorgio’s Pizzeria, Island Pig & Fish, Mai Thai Bistro, Pepper & Salt BBQ, Tequila Azteca and Tribe Kitchen. Pusateri’s Chicago Pizza and Shakra’s Deli were invited but were unable to attend.

For the second year running, Chefs Lisa and Anthony Damiano of Counter Culture Beachside were named Chefs of the Year, wowing everyone with their Florasian Noodle Bowl.

Dinner Revolution took home the Restaurant of the Year award, rising above the others with its Mushroom Ravioli with Vodka Sauce and Shrimp.

Junior food blogger Jackson Harbin declared Armani Cucina’s Mezzi Rigatoni Pomidorino his favorite, while the People’s Choice award was presented to Island Pig and Fish for their Brisket Sandwich.

To address food insecurity issues in the county, a portion of proceeds from the evening were slated to go to the Senior Resource Association.

“This year we partnered with the Senior Resource Association as our benefiting charity. They help reduce hunger and improve the health of thousands of seniors every year right here in Indian River County with their diverse, nutritional programs to help maintain seniors’ health, happiness and independence,” said Miller.

“Limited income or resources to access or prepare food, lack of transportation, physical limitations or health problems are some of the contributing factors to reduce seniors’ independence,” he added.

“Our seniors are struggling today more than ever,” said Rosalind Diaz, SRA director of Case Management, noting they are able to help so many senior citizens because of donors and volunteers.
