Featuring a New VIP Add-On Experience, with performances in Indian River and Palm Beach counties.
Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to announce the return of Nutcracker on the Indian River! This year, the company is excited to unveil a new VIP Add-On Experience where guests can meet and take photos with members of the cast following the performance.
Performances will take place in both Indian River and Palm Beach counties. The VIP Add-On Experience is available December 29 – 31.
Nutcracker on the Indian River retains all the whimsy and magic of the original ballet but moves the action to the year Vero was founded (1919). Taking the ballet’s heroine, Marie, on a holiday journey from New York to Florida, Fifth Avenue Mansions, Grand Central Station, and rail cars become settings. Instead of a second act featuring candy characters, Marie dreams of the shores of the Indian River Lagoon and is entertained by all manner of local flora and fauna. From land crabs to manatees and river otters to bougainvillea, our production has become an instant classic that takes all the magic of the stage and uses that magic to both entertain and inspire.
In addition to photo opportunities with cast members, guests who purchase the VIP Add-On Experience will receive an exclusive VIP Swag Bag filled with signature Nutcracker on the Indian River merchandise and fun surprises. This experience is perfect for all ages…the young and the young at heart!
Tickets for the VIP Add-On Experience are $20 and there is limited availability at each performance, so book your experience as soon as you get your tickets for Nutcracker on the Indian River!
Public performances are slated for 1:00 pm on December 14 in Benjamin Hall, on the campus of the Benjamin School, located at 4875 Grandiflora Road in Palm Beach Gardens, as well as 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm December 30 at the VBHS Performing Arts Center (1707 16th Street) in Vero Beach. Tickets range from $10-$82. Student Rush tickets can be purchased with any valid high school or college student ID at our guest services table one hour before any performance.
Nutcracker for All returns at 7:00 pm December 29 and 12:00 pm on December 31, also at the VBHS Performing Arts Center. Nutcracker for All is an abbreviated, Accessible/Family-friendly version of the production geared towards individuals with differing abilities and families with young children. The production features modified audio and visual effects and increased accessible seating and sections for those unable to remain seated throughout the performance.
Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to be the only arts organization in the area to offer a fully Accessible/Family Friendly Series that offers professional-level arts experiences to underserved segments of our community. All tickets for Nutcracker for All are subsidized at $10, thanks to the generosity of Ballet Vero Beach’s many funders and donors.
