2nd Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon on Saturday, December 7

VERO BEACH – The 2nd Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 – a fun and safe, short course, Swim-Bike-Run event. The race allows elementary and middle school children between the ages of 6 – 13 to participate in a multisport youth event geared for both first-time triathletes and seasoned competitive triathletes.

The inaugural event last year sold-out to 200 children. This year the event accommodates 300 participants – and it is expected to sell out again.

This one-of-a-kind event is taking place again this year at the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex in Vero Beach.  The same routes will be followed with the Swim taking place at the Gifford Aquatic Center, the Bike along 43rd Avenue (roads will be closed to vehicular traffic), and the Run will be within the Victor Hart Complex around the sports fields.

This event is now the second largest kids triathlon in Florida, and is the only one in Indian River County and along the Treasure Coast.

Additional program highlights:

No Child Will be Turned Away for any reason – be it cost, disability, skill level or lack of equipment.  All Proceeds Benefit Youth in our community.

All participants are invited to be on a float at the Christmas Parade that takes place the same evening.
