VERO BEACH — A lottery ticket worth more than $42,000 won in Saturday’s drawing after being sold at a local Publix, according to Florida Lottery officials.
The Fantasy 5, quick pick ticket was sold at the Publix Super Market at Treasure Coast Plaza, 415 21st Street, Vero Beach. The store is located in the Miracle Mile Plaza between Indian River Boulevard and U.S. 1.
The winning numbers for the evening draw were 06-16-17-18-23. The local Publix was one of three locations to sell winning tickets for the evening draw, and one of four stores to sell winning tickets on Saturday.
The local winner will receive the grand prize of $42,041.47, lottery officials said. It was unclear if the winner had already claimed their prize.
