McKEE BOTANICAL GARDEN TO UNVEIL, JUNGLE LIGHTS,
The Largest and Most Dazzling Holiday Light Display on the Treasure Coast
to be hosted over 17 unprecedented nights in December
Vero Beach, FL – November 18, 2024—One of the most anticipated family events in the tri-county area is returning to McKee Botanical Garden this year in the bigger and brighter-than-ever Jungle Lights. The glittering holiday light display will feature the largest installation of flashy and twinkly lights, whimsical holiday displays, illuminated flora and fauna, and exotic jungle sounds on the Treasure Coast.
This holiday tradition, now in its 18th year, joyfully entertains McKee’s members and Florida residents from Orlando to Palm Beach and is a must-see event for visiting families and houseguests. Visitors will find extended hours, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, on each of 17 unprecedented nights: December 8, December 10 – 15, December 17 – 22, and December 26 – 29. The Garden Café will offer festive food and spirits, and the Gift Shop will showcase unique crafts and gift ideas.
Event Highlights:
- Thousands of professionally installed LED lights on McKee’s exotic palms, oak trees, waterfalls, and along its tranquil streams.
- Largest illuminated Christmas tree in Indian River County, measuring 32 feet tall.
- Spectacular model train display (December 14 – 15, December 17 – 22, and December 26 – 29 only).
- 1924 Wurlitzer Band Organ performances (December 17 – 20 only).
- Santa Claus December 17 – 22
- Varied nightly entertainment from local choral and musical groups.
Rochelle Wolberg, Executive Director of McKee Botanical Garden, enthused that “these dazzling nights of Jungle Lights are the only time visitors can experience this unique tropical oasis at night when they may also capture and share beautiful memories of a rare and heartwarming sensory experience in nature.”
Parking in McKee’s adjacent lots is available throughout Jungle Lights. Free shuttle bus service from McKee’s remote parking lot just south of the main entrance on US-1 will be available nightly.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Garden Admissions during normal hours or online at www.mckeegarden.org. During Jungle Lights, ticket purchases for admission will require a credit card. No cash will be accepted!
