Justin Woulard – a 13-year GYAC Student, announces he signed with Florida State University for track and field!

National Signing Day Highlights GYAC Student’s Academic and Extracurricular Excellence

GIFFORD, Fla. – Wednesday, November 13th – National Signing Day celebrated students’ academic and athletic achievements nationwide, including Justin Woulard, a Gifford Youth Achievement Center (GYAC) student from kindergarten through high school. Justin was fielding offers from multiple schools, including Duke University and DePaul University. However, he chose to stay in his home state of Florida.

Justin, who maintains an unweighted GPA of 4.7 throughout his tenure at Vero Beach High School and Melbourne Central Catholic, aspires to become an engineer and participates in GYAC’s Youth Employability Program.  Justin gained valuable industry experience through this program by working at a local engineering firm on the Treasure Coast last summer. The entire GYAC family is proud to stand by Justin and watch his growth into the young man he is today. We cannot wait to support him as he attends school here in Florida with our support network and access to our scholarship programs.
