WHAT: Catholic Charities’ Samaritan Center will hold its 32nd Annual Soup Bowl fundraising event at the Heritage Center and locations throughout Indian River County.
Handmade pottery bowls and soup will be available for donations. The one-of-a-kind pottery is made by the artists of Indian River Clay. Soup will be provided for a donation of $5 and pottery is offered for a $20 donation.
Twenty-five businesses, places of worship and other organizations throughout Indian River County will serve soup and/or offer bowls for donations at their locations. Participating locations will serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and dinner locations will serve from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
WHO: Catholic Charities’ Samaritan Center with partners: Indian River Clay, Heritage Center, Source’s Dignity Food Truck. Area businesses, places of worship, nonprofit organizations and schools will serve soup and offer bowls for donations at their locations.

WHY: All donations support the Samaritan Center and efforts to help homeless families in Indian River County with transitional housing, essential supplies and other services designed to help families achieve independence. Indian River County continues to see more working families in crisis and facing homelessness.
