Please join us for a Soft Opening reception for (abstract) URGE, a one-of-a-kind art exhibit at the Vero Beach Raw Space Gallery on Nov 1st from 5:30-7:30
This will be a Hurricane relief fundraiser for United Way. The fundraiser is a silent auction of 5 pieces of Art from the works of local artists Gabriela Hernandez, Christina Bates, Shotsi LaJoie, Barry Shapiro, and Leslie Stokes, with a unique musical presentation by Aric Attas.

We are excited to announce that we are having an Opening reception for (abstract) URGE, a one-of-a-kind art exhibit at the Vero Beach Raw Space Gallery on November 14th at 5:30-8:30 and the show runs through January 24th. Hours by appointment. This show features the work of local artists Gabriela Hernandez, Christina Bates, Xaque Gruber, Shotsi LaJoie, Barry Shapiro, and Leslie Stokes, with a unique musical presentation by Aric Attas creating music from plants that will run through the duration of the show. Also, a feature length documentary film about the show and the artists is being created by the filmmaking team of Brandon and Ericka Reardon, a short version of which will be shown during the exhibit as well. Aside from presenting an exhibit of 6 abstract painters, it is in and of itself an unusual kind of exhibition for the Vero community. What will make this show unique are numerous special events presented by the artists during the length of the exhibit. Workshops, lectures, demonstrations, storytelling, wine tastings and other events will be on the calendar.
