Artist Monique Carr Opens Studio in Vero Beach, Pledges Support for Artists Impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton

Vero Beach, FL – October 21, 2024 – Monique Carr, an accomplished artist originally from Johnson City, TN, is excited to announce the opening of her new Art Studio and Gallery in downtown Vero Beach. Located in the heart of the city’s vibrant arts district, Monique’s studio offers a fresh, welcoming space for art enthusiasts and collectors to experience her renowned works.

To celebrate the studio’s grand opening, Monique will be participating in the First Friday Art Stroll on November 1st, where she’ll also make a special commitment to support artists affected by the recent hurricanes. She will donate 20% of her art sales on November 1st, as well as throughout the entire month of November, to the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+), benefiting artists impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Monique, who has close ties to the artistic communities in Vero Beach and Asheville, NC, expressed deep concern for her fellow artists: “My heart breaks for my artist friends who have lost their studios and artwork due to these storms.” Her donation aims to provide much-needed relief to those recovering from the devastation.

Monique Carr’s Art Studio and Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, with private viewings available by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call (423) 956-3249. Her artwork can also be viewed online at www.moniquecarr.com.
