Smith Services and the LII Lennox Foundation Show Their Love for Local Heroes by Donating Essential Heating and Cooling Equipment

Smith Services to install free HVAC equipment for Three Households in Indian River County

We are partnering with The LII Lennox Foundation to give back to deserving Indian River County residents. During the week of October 5th-12th, we will be installing a high efficiency air conditioner free of charge to the Petrun, Alvira and Price residences.

April Petrun is a dedicated teacher who volunteers with The Learning Alliance and is always giving her time and resources to help enhance learning and student success. She works late and gives up most of her summer to tutor and help students achieve their dreams. Petrun doesn’t just teach a single grade, she helps students throughout the entire school that need a little more help and attention. She became a single mother after her daughter’s father passed and is extremely passionate about her daughter’s and students’ education, leaving her little time or money for her to work on the larger fixes in the home.

Kelsey Alvira works at the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County and is also working to build her own fitness and nutrition business. Alvira welcomes her friends to stay with her when they fall on hard times and will take in animals that nobody else can handle or care for. She works tirelessly to help those around her and the innocent animals who do not have a voice to speak for themselves. She has had difficulties cooling her house and deserves to be comfortable in her own home.

Laine and Ashlie Price open their home to at-risk youth and young adults who find themselves in need. The Price family loves, cares for, mentors and encourages these individuals as they find their way in this world. Ashlie has been in early childhood education for almost 20 years now and is dedicated to loving, teaching and investing in the next generation. Laine leads by example of what it means to overcome adversity, donates his time and skills helping people in the community who are in need of vehicle repairs, and steps to the plate as the leader of his home. They are involved in community activities including youth programs, religious organizations and are willing to lend a helping hand wherever they are needed.
