| In an extraordinary display of community spirit and the power of love for animals, HSVB marked an unprecedented achievement during the national “Clear the Shelters” event. A total of 86 animals found loving homes including, 33 dogs, 50 cats, 2 chickens and 1 rooster!
This monumental effort was not without its challenges. The shelter worked tirelessly to ensure every animal was presented to potential adopters, showcasing their unique personalities and the immense love they have to offer. By waiving the adoption fees for the event, the shelter aimed to remove any barriers that might prevent these animals from finding their forever homes. The response was overwhelming, with our community stepping forward in droves to meet, bond with, and adopt their new best friends.
