VERO BEACH, August 30, 2024 – United Way of Indian River County is calling on all community heroes to join us for the upcoming Day of Caring, an inspiring day dedicated to volunteerism and community service. Set for Saturday, October 26, 2024, this annual event, proudly sponsored by Publix, is a chance for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to come together and make a lasting impact in our community.
With volunteer registration opening today, we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to sign up and be a part of this rewarding experience. The day will kick off with a lively breakfast at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex, setting the stage for a morning filled with purposeful activities and community spirit.

Kick-off Breakfast: 8:00 AM at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex, 3901 26th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Enjoy a hearty breakfast provided by McDonald’s, an energizing warm-up by TBLB Fitness, and a performance by the Vero Beach High School cheer squad.
Project Start Time: 9:00 AM at various locations throughout the county.
