Police: Manager tied up in weekend armed robbery at Mulligan’s

VERO BEACH — No injuries were reported after a suspect tied up a manager at Mulligan’s Beach House before taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash over the weekend, police said. Now, officers are combing through evidence left behind at the scene, along with nearby surveillance footage, to catch the individual.

Vero Beach police spokesperson Officer Kelsea Callahan described the suspect as a thin Black male, about 6 feet tall, who was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a black face covering. There was limited information available as the case remains an active investigation.

Police received multiple calls reporting an armed robbery about 12:19 a.m. Sunday at Mulligan’s, located in the 1000 block of Beachland Boulevard in Sexton Plaza. It was unclear if the suspect fled from the restaurant in a vehicle or on foot.

Callahan said police will provide increased patrol units in that area. Anyone with information on the suspect or the robbery should contact Vero Beach police at 772-978-4664.
