Albert A. Dixon, Jr., 79, Fort Pierce
September 14, 1944 – August 14, 2024
Albert A. Dixon, Jr., 79, of Fort Pierce, FL, formerly from Welcome, MD, passed away August 14, 2024 at Lawnwood Medical Hospital from complications of kidney failure.
He was born September 14, 1944 in Washington, DC, the son of the late Albert A. Dixon, Sr. and Mary (America) Dixon.
He served in the Navy in the 1960s. After the service he moved to southern Maryland where he owned and operated BelAlton Liquors with his wife until the beaches of Florida called him for retirement.
Big “Al” is survived by his wife Frances E. Dixon of Ft. Pierce, FL; stepdaughter Tina M. Beletsky (Bill), stepson George T. Estevez, Jr. (Karen), grandchildren Lauren Fowler (Kris), Bradley Fowler (Lauren), George T. Estevez, III (Emily), Robert Estevez (Lauren), Tyler Dixon (Madison), Brian J. Minner, Kayleigh Minner, and Adrianna Clark; and great grandson Colt Fowler. He is also survived by brothers Thomas Dixon and David Dixon, sisters, Nancy Zapata (Willie) and Charlotte Deneault, and former son in law, Randy Fowler. He was predeceased in death by his daughter Kristin L. Minner (Brian), brother Daniel Dixon and sister Alice Testa. He is survived by a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
