Vero Beach, August 8th, 2024: Master’s Academy is pleased to announce the following promotions of its administrative staff, effective August 1st.
Mr. Eric Lantrip, who has served Master’s Academy for 8 years as the Lower School Principal and Director of Admissions, will now serve as Assistant Head of School. In this role Mr. Lantrip will assist Dr. Rick Brewer, Head of School, with the general administration of the academy while continuing to serve as Lower School Principal and Director of Admissions. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Cross Cultural Communications and Bible from Baptist Bible College and a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Louisiana Baptist and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Ms. Kimberly Gillette, who has served Master’s Academy for 12 years in various roles, including Lower School teacher and Upper School Academic Dean, will now serve as the Upper School Principal providing leadership for the overall academic and spiritual development of teachers and students in grades 6-12. Ms. Gillette holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University and is currently completing a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
Ms. Robin Harwick, who has served Master’s Academy for 20 years in various roles including 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade teacher, lead teacher, and as the Lower School Academic Dean, will now continue to serve as Dean while adding the responsibility of coordinating Master’s Academy’s continuous accreditation emphasis with the Association of Christian Schools International. Ms. Harwick holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Warner University and is completing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Dr. Brewer stated, “We are grateful for the faithful service of Mr. Lantrip, Ms. Gillette, and Ms. Harwick. Their experience and expertise will underscore the mission of Master’s Academy, and will be beneficial to the school’s strategic plan, Vision 2030.”
The Vision 2030 will provide direction as Master’s Academy is preparing for a record enrollment this year with 350 students. The school is guided by its mission to “spiritually develop and academically challenge students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.”
