Friday, August 2, 2024, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. – Senior Resource Association (SRA) increases Saturday hours for GoLine and Community Coach transportation programs beginning Saturday, August 3.
The newly expanded Saturday service runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
GoLine and Community Coach recently extended their weekday hours to 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Both transportation options do not operate on Sundays, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
“The Saturday service hours expansion will help connect people with work, school, family, and more. When public transit reaches more people and communities, its impact is even greater,” says Karen Deigl, SRA President/CEO. “Lack of transportation should never be a barrier to accessing community resources,” she adds.
GoLine is Indian River County’s award-winning public transit system, offering convenient, zero-fare transportation for individuals of all ages. The GoLine bus system includes 14 fixed routes providing service throughout the county. All GoLine buses are ADA-accessible and equipped with audiovisual cameras and convenient bicycle racks. It operates as a shared-ride service that makes stops along the way. Accessibility and safety are a priority, and Community Coach fully accommodates riders who use mobility aids.
