Sight for ‘soar’ eyes: Vero Beach Air Show dazzles again!

The adrenaline-pumping roar of jet engines soaring overhead mingled with gasps of awe from spectators during the Vero Beach Air Show, presented by Piper Aircraft to benefit the Veterans Council of Indian River County, Exchange Club of Indian River County, Exchange Club of Vero Beach and H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue.

The three-day event was highlighted with performances by the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, known as the Blue Angels, who captivated the attention of aviation enthusiasts with their skills and bravery. A full lineup of other mesmerizing ground and aerial performers also enthralled the crowds with their daring feats. Evening performances were added this year, lighting up the night like fire-breathing dragons and culminating with a spectacular fireworks display.

Aircraft, military and civilian displays on the ground provided the opportunity to interact with experts, learn about the latest advancements in aviation technology, and gain a deeper appreciation for the history and heritage of flight.
