| The evening will feature a stellar lineup of various artists, including Muffy Charles, the renowned singing star on the Treasure Coast. Muffy, a vocal instructor at the Gifford Youth Orchestra music school, has graced the stages of prestigious Vero venues such as the Vero Beach Country Club, The Moorings Yacht & Country Club, and the Quail River Club. Her performances are always a treat for the ears and a delight for the soul.
The song stylings of Kate Shanaphy Maingot will also be featured. Kate is very familiar to audiences in Vero and its surrounds, having appeared for many seasons at Cobalt at Vero Beach Hotel & Spa, The Blue Star, The Moorings Club, Orchid Island Beach Club, Waldo’s on the Beach, Riomar Beach Club, and Quail River Club. Kate also serves on the staff of the Gifford Youth Orchestra and will be accompanied by pianist and father Ed Shanaphy and their dear friend and music partner, Jamaican Jazz Hall of Fame bassist Taddy Mowatt. Kate will be dipping into the Great American Songbook as she always does well.
Pianist and Gifford Youth Orchestra teacher extraordinaire Ellen Charles will perform her magic at the keyboard. Daughter of a famed jazz guitarist and mother of Miss Muffy Charles, Ellen is a truly gifted musician whose playing always delights her audiences. Songstress Dolores Mark, another fabulously talented local performer and music professional, will add to the festivities with her exquisite vocal offerings!
To round out the evening with a fun surprise, a few students of the Gifford Youth Orchestra will share their amazing musical accomplishments, both vocally and instrumentally.
