United Way of Indian River County Second Annual Trike Wars and Thank You Block Party

The fun begins on Flamevine Lane Friday night, May 10, at 5:00pm when United Way Torchbearer Workplaces compete in Trike Wars at the United Way’s Second Annual Thank You Celebration presented by Gould Cooksey Fennell. Torchbearers are businesses and organizations that contribute $12K or more between employee and corporate giving annually who will race in relay teams of three for the coveted trophy. This year, United Way is also raffling off three chances to participate on a community trike team! 

Following the race will be a block party complete with music, street bars and a bounce house. The Thank You Celebration and Block Party marks the end of United Way’s Annual Campaign and recognizes the volunteers, donors, workplaces, funded partners, and community for supporting its mission.  The entire community is welcome to come celebrate.

2023-2024 Torchbearers include: Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Dean Mead Minton + Moore, Florida Floor Fashions, Gould Cooksey Fennell, Indian River County, Northern Trust, Publix, FPL, Seacoast Bank, Vero Beach Social Media, IRC Sheriff’s Office, School District of Indian River County, Cleveland Clinic and the Bernard A. Egan Foundation.
