You have until Sunday to see Riverside Theatre’s terrific production of “Yankee Tavern.” The Steven Dietz play is in the theater’s Waxlax Stage venue and presents a great performance by actor Steve Brady who, in a near tour de force performance, plays a homeless man rife with conspiracy theories. If you head to Riverside on Friday or Saturday evening, get there early in order to take advantage of the theater’s free Concerts in the Loop. One-hour concerts start at 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. this weekend. On Friday, April 5, the band Ryz-N-Soulz will cover chart toppers from classic rock, blues, alternative and country. On Saturday, April 6, Dave and the Wave will perform classic rock, Motown, R&B, smooth jazz and more. These are free concerts. Tables are first come, first served, so be sure to bring lawn chairs. The Vero Beach Film Festival is around the corner. Festivities kick off Monday, April 8, with the Vintner Dinner, which raises funds for the festival. The dinner includes a 5:30 p.m. tasting of wines from the exclusive collection of Harvey and Margot Kornick. That is followed by a 7:15 p.m. dinner at Vero Prime, 2023 14th Ave., Vero Beach.
