Grammy Award-winning soprano Lisa Eden with Dr. Jacob Craig on the piano are presenting an elegant evening of song in honor of the Greatest Generation of WWII on Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 PM at Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club. This special night of music will support the completion of the WWII Tribute that just began construction on Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary here in Vero Beach. The evening will begin with passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a four-course dinner, followed by a beautiful and patriotic performance by these two very talented Vero Beach artists. The WWII Tribute will be a permanent parade stand with an educational element located in the center of the Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary where all future patriotic ceremonies and private memorials of those that have served will be held. It has been called “The Crown Jewel” of the island. The project was the undertaking of the Indian River Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. They completed and dedicated the WWI Doughboy statue on Veterans Day in 2021.
