The Veterans Cup at the Boulevard

The greatest doubles team of all time, Mike and Bob Bryan, are scheduled to appear at The Boulevard Tennis Club as part of the The Veterans Cup. The Bryan Brothers will be joined by two-time Olympic Gold medalist Nicolas Massu, ATP Tour top-ranked Reilly Opelka and US Open and Wimbledon Champions Robert Farah and and Juan Cabal to raise funds for two local veteran charities.

The Veterans Cup, largely sponsored by Tom Collins Insurance, is being presented and hosted by The Boulevard Charities, a philanthropic arm of the club located on Indian River Boulevard in Vero Beach.

Slated for Friday, March 22, the Pro-Am tournament will be just one component of an incredible day. The visiting professionals will hold a clinic at The Boulevard with on-court participation open to the public prior to the signature Pro-Am. The evening will be topped off with a professional exhibition featuring the past champions and present-day touring professionals.

“Vero Beach has never seen such a collection of champions at one club raising money for our veterans,” said Tim Brueggeman, Director of Tennis at The Boulevard.

Boot Campaign and DoYouGiveARuck are the two charities chosen to help improve and care for the veterans in Indian River County and across the nation. Through care, treatment, health and wellness programs and passion for bettering veterans’ lives, “both organizations are honored to be a part of the inaugural Veterans Cup,” says Brueggeman.  The Community Health Coalition which also helps at-risk children abroad along with cancer-care for local cancer patients will also be a featured charity.
