Vero Beach Museum of Art Faculty Open House this Saturday February 24

VERO BEACH, FL…The Vero Beach Museum of Art is opening its doors on Saturday, February 24, for FREE admission to encourage budding artists to come and view demonstrations by the faculty instructors from 10 am – 2 pm in the Studios.

The day-long activities offer patrons the chance to see a series of art activities ranging from painting to pottery and Tai Chi to art history, all under one roof. The instructors are available to answer any questions and talk about what classes are offered next term. If you sign up in person on-site on this one day only, you will enjoy 15% off your Spring 2024 tuition (does not include workshops and Cork, Canvas & Company offerings). The Stuart Segal Photography Scholarship is also available.

And that’s not all. For kids and families, the Museum is running its monthly Museum Studios – Miles of Niles from 10 am -1 pm, themed around the new exhibition Ancient Egypt & the Napoleonic Era: Masterworks from the Dahesh Museum of Art.  VBMA docents will provide themed mini tours to families that include a variety of art in the exhibition. Then, participants can get creative, making art of their own in the Laura and Bill Buck Atrium. The Art Zone will be open, and docents will be offering public tours of the exhibition at 2 pm.

Museum exhibition hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 am – 4:30 pm; and Sundays, 1 pm – 4:00 pm. For further information call (772) 231-0707 or visit the Museum’s website at www.vbeachmuseum.org.
