Humane Society to Host Annual Cause for Paws fundraiser March 6, 2024

(Vero Beach, Florida) – The Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County (HSVB) is excited to announce that their annual fundraiser, Cause for Paws, is returning to the Oak Harbor Club in Vero Beach on March 6, 2024.

Cause for Paws is HSVB’s largest annual fundraising event. Enjoy a fabulous evening featuring cocktails, gourmet cuisine and heartfelt stories as we celebrate the thousands of lives—both people and pets—saved and changed thanks to our supporters and community.

“We are immensely grateful for the continued support of our donors, whose generosity makes events like Cause for Paws possible,” states Liz Smokowski, Chief Executive Officer. “This gala is a testament to the power of our community coming together to create positive change for animals in need. Join us in celebrating this spirit of giving and compassion.”

Hundreds of pet lovers attend Cause for Paws every year, and tickets are available to the public for $250.00. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.hsvb.org/events/cause-for-paws. This event is expected to sell out. All funds raised from the event enable HSVB to be there for all animals in need and keep pets in their homes and families together.

HSVB will also have dogs and kittens available for adoption at the event. For a list of animals currently available for adoption, visit www.hsvb.org/adopt.
