Vero Beach Museum of Art Announces Concert in the Park dates

Don’t miss the return of Concerts in the Park at the Vero Beach Museum of Art starting on February 29th

Residents are invited to enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting and atmosphere of the Museum’s Sculpture Parks while listening to the sounds of various toe-tapping musical numbers.

Back by popular demand…the season’s schedule kicks off with Don Soledad. Inspired by the guitar of flamenco legend Paco de Lucia, Don Soledad cultivated his sophisticated, soulful sounds in Northern California, beginning with his early guitar studies with the great Spanish flamenco maestros – Mariano de Cordoba and Agustin Rios, the nephew of legendary guitarist Diego del Gastor.

This musical trio will perform fan favorites and introduce the audience to new performances. Either way, it promises to be a great evening.

On March 21st, Mike Telemanick will take the outdoor stage with his jazz band and share his amazing talent on the piano. Expect to hear classic be-bop arrangements echoing the styles of Bud Powell, Bill Evens, and Oscar Peterson, as well as contemporary jazz stylings, and pay vocal tribute to Frank Sinatra, Nat King cole, and Johnny Hartman.

Performance dates on select Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm:

February 29th (Don Soledad)

March 21st (Mike Telesmanick)

Each musical evening will begin at 5 pm and include a live performance, a cash bar – beer and wine, and Off the Hook Food Truck will be on site each evening. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Join us and bring your seats or picnic blankets, and enjoy this truly sensational evening of entertainment at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.

Tickets are $10 for Members and $12 for Non-Members.

Tickets are purchased on the night. No advanced tickets.
