SCOTTISH SOCIETY OF THE TREASURE COAST

The Scottish Society of the Treasure Coast will hold their annual Scottish Tea on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the Garden Club of Indian River County, 2526 – 17TH Avenue, Vero Beach.

This popular event was sold out last year so if you want to enjoy a formal tea with a selection of delectables you should make your reservations by the deadline of February 25, 2024.

In addition to the cakes, sandwiches, scones and other Scottish tea treats, there will be Celtic music played on flute and guitar, a tea cup contest and a chance to relax and enjoy good company and conversation.

The Scottish Society holds the Scottish Tea each year as a fundraiser for scholarships.  Their mission is to support and encourage students wanting to learn more about Scotland and its traditions, such as:  bagpipe playing, drumming, singing, Highland and country dancing, Scottish music, or any other Scottish cultural endeavor.

To make reservations, go to the website at www.scottishsocietyofthetreasurecoast.com to pay on line, or mail a check for $30 per person for each reservation to The Scottish Society of the Treasure Coast, P.O. Box 5263, Vero Beach, FL 32961.  Reservation deadline is February 26, 2024.
