(Vero Beach, Florida) February 2, 2024 – The Environmental Learning Center is launching a Brown Bag Lunch and Learn series with the first two talks on the Indian River Lagoon. Dr. Duane De Freese, Executive Director of the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program will be the featured speaker on Wednesday, February 28th at noon. ELC members can attend for free as part of their member benefits and guests are $10.00.
On Wednesday, March 27th, the Brown Bag Lunch and Learn continues with Anne Michael and other speakers sharing “History of Life Along the Lagoon” highlighting the pioneer families who lived along the waterfront.
