Marjorie Ann Poole, 81, Sebastian

August 21, 1942 – January 10, 2024

Marjorie Ann Poole passed away on January 10, 2024. Marjorie (Marge) was born on August 21, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas James Coulter and Dorothy Irene Carlson Coulter.

Marjorie attended Mt. Greenwood Elementary School, Morgan Park High School and Northern Illinois University.

Marge was very active in the 19th Ward Young Republicans Club in Chicago, volunteering during many campaigns and functions (poll watching, voter canvassing, etc.)

In 1969 she moved to Frankfort, IL then moved to the Miami, FL area in 1970 and stayed for four years before returning to Frankfort. In 1979 she returned to Florida and settled in the Sebastian area. In 1982 she married James “Jimmy” Poole.

Marge worked in various Manufactured Home Communities and served two terms on the City of Sebastian Planning Board. She then accepted a position with the City of Sebastian in 1989 and retired in 2008 as Benefit Specialist. Marge was mainly responsible for group insurance, pension information, worker’s compensation, payroll preparation and various Human Resource responsibilities. Marge also served as Secretary of the Police Pension Board.

Marge and Jimmy liked road trips and had traveled to the Northwest, West, Midwest, Southwest and the Southeast in the lower U.S. They enjoyed the Alaska Cruise and Land tour and also the cruise to the Panama Canal and Western Caribbean.

Marge and Jimmy were also owner/operators of Poole Motor Sports, parts for racing type go-carts in the state of Florida. This kept them busy on a regular basis and something Marge really enjoyed.

Marge was pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Dorothy Coulter, Sr. and step-son Richard “Ricky” Poole. She leaves behind her husband  of 38 years, Jimmy, one brother, Thomas J Coulter, Jr of Barefoot Bay, two step-sons, Mike (Marie) and Randy (Kim), grand-daughter Whitney Bond (Justin) and their families. Brother-In-Law Kenneth Poole, Sister-In-Law Alice Faye Irwin and various cousins and their families in Florida, Indiana and Illinois. She also leaves behind her loveable canine companion, April.

Marge was of the Lutheran faith and requests there will not be any services.

Theresa Ann Coe, 60, Sebastian

May 28, 1963 – January 13, 2024

Theresa Ann Coe, aged 60, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away surrounded by her family on January 13th, 2024. Born in New Rochelle, New York, on May 28th, 1963 to Angelo and Geraldine Luraschi, Theresa was the cherished wife of Richard Earl Coe, with whom she celebrated 38 years of marriage and lovingly raised their daughter, Ashley E. Coe.

A proud alumna of Pelham Memorial High School, Class of 1981, Theresa went on to forge a successful career in marketing, culminating her professional journey at Amerilist, Inc. A woman of deep faith, she was a devout Catholic, actively participating in choir and the Catholic Youth Organization in her youth, and later serving as a Eucharistic minister. Theresa’s commitment to her faith continued in Florida, becoming an integral part of Saint Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Sebastian.

Theresa’s life was marked by a variety of interests and activities. She was an avid bowler, bingo enthusiast, and card player. Her love for travel was matched only by her passion for sunflowers, penguins and sports, with a special fondness for the New York Giants. Her evenings were often spent enjoying football and baseball games, a testament to her spirited nature.

She leaves behind a loving family; her husband Richard E. Coe, daughter Ashley E. Coe, Aunt Theresa M. Luraschi, sister Katherine A. Ricci, brother Michael A. Luraschi, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Theresa’s warmth and kindness deeply touched everyone in her life and she will be profoundly missed. An animal lover, her presence will also be greatly missed by her loyal dog, Bailey and Minnie the cat.

A service celebrating Theresa’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19th, at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church, located at 13075 US-1, Sebastian, Florida 32958

Theresa’s memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.

Bonnie Lynn Isachsen, 79, Sebastian

April 23, 1944 – January 15, 2024

Bonnie Lynn Isachsen, passed peacefully on January 15, 2024. Bonnie was born on April 23, 1944, in Castleton, New York. She was the oldest child of Frederick C. and Anna Marie Platt. She Is predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas. She is survived by her two daughters, Tamara (Martin) Goodman of Niskayuna, NY; Wendy Isachsen of Davie, FL; her two sons, Peter (Barbara) Isachsen of Woodford, VT; Michael (Sharon) Hall of Fairview TX and her two grandsons; Brendan Isachsen of Sebastian FL; Zachariah Isachsen of Davie FL.

Bonnie grew up in Schodack, NY where she was a graduate of Columbia High School, East Greenbush, NY She is retired from East Greenbush CSD, where she was a professional school bus driver for over 30 years. Bonnie was a beautiful, kind woman who loved animals, especially her dogs. She is survived by her African Grey parrot, “Rudy” and Cockatoo, “Freddy”. After retirement, she and her husband Douglas settled in Florida, spending the last 6 years in Sebastian. She loved baking, crotchet, gardening, her family and her pets.

Brian O’Shea, 62, Viera

December 28, 1961 – January 17, 2024

Brian O’Shea, 62, of Viera, passed away on January 17, 2024, with his family by his side. Born in Huntington, New York, he was son to the late James Joseph and Hildegarde-Amelia. Moving to Florida as a teenager, Brian would attend Palm Bay High School, before enlisting in the United States Air Force.

During his military tenure, Brian earned his Associate Degree, was a seasoned Crew Chief for a C-5 Galaxy, worked on Space Shuttles, and  traveled the world.

Following his military service, Brian helped construct residential and commercial properties across the entire eastern coast of Florida.

Brian would then marry his childhood friend Jeanmarie, and they would go on to share 2 sons and 33 years of marriage together.

Brian was carefree, adventurous, quick-witted, and hard to kill. He had an undying devotion to his family and friends, and enjoyed cooking, boating, bowling, racing, traveling, golfing, shooting pool, playing his guitar, and riding his motorcycle.

Burny Ratchet had a passion for working on projects of every kind, and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t build or fix.

Brian is survived by his wife Jeanmarie, children Timothy and Keith, brother James “Jimbo”, and grandson Landon. In addition to his immediate family, Brian is survived by his brother Charles and countless friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, January 24, 2024 at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S Fleming St., Sebastian, FL 32958 with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at  11:00 AM, January 25, 2024 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 US Highway 1, Sebastian, FL 32958.
