Galleries at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach spotlight three artists

(VERO BEACH, FL) January 15, 2024 – If the days are delightfully cool, it can only mean one thing: It’s time for the annual Winter Art Show at The Galleries of First Pres! On Sunday, January 28, the public is invited to an opening reception from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach, for the Winter Art Show at First Presbyterian Church, which will run through March 31. The work of three standout artists will be displayed in galleries throughout the church campus for the duration of the show. Visitors can enjoy free refreshments as they peruse the work of Evelyna Helmer, Maciek von Ato and Bertelle Brooking. For more information about the Winter Art Show, visit www.FirstPresVero.org or call (772) 562-9088.

Suze Lavender curates the rotating collection at The Galleries at First Pres and is herself an artist, having studied under the prolific Netherlands-born painter, sculptor and printmaker, Frits Van Eeden.

“We are delighted to once again showcase the talents of three artists during our Winter Art Show,” said Ms. Lavender. “Winter visitors to Vero Beach as well as our full-time residents always appreciate the art installations at First Presbyterian. At the reception, art lovers can meet each artist and view their very diverse work.”
