Senior Resource Association’s Silver Tones Choir Brings Joy to the Community

Thursday, November 30, 2023, VERO BEACH, Fla. – Mark your calendars for Senior Resource Association’s (SRA) upcoming Silver Tones concert, Thursday, December 7, called Let’s Celebrate the Holidays.

SRA President and CEO, Karen Deigl, says “Silver Tones have been performing for our community for 16 years and the holiday show is always popular with classic and fun holiday favorites that get you in the holiday spirit.”

Concerts are free to the public and performed at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd, Vero Beach. Donations are always appreciated and help support SRA programs such as Meals on Wheels and DayAway Adult Enrichment and Respite.

Under the direction of Dr. Jacob Craig, Director of Music and Arts of First Presbyterian Church, SRA’s Silver Tones present three themed concerts each season, as well as a summer series where they share the gift of song at assisted living communities throughout Indian River County.

This season also includes performances on Thursday, February 8, 2024, called Love is a Many Splendored Thing, and Traveling Across America on April 11, 2024.

The all-volunteer group provides older adults (55+) a meaningful musical outlet that encourages their unique talents and provides a wonderful service to the community thanks to generous sponsorship initiated by Kathie and Michael Pierce, a treasured tradition that Michael continues.

For more information about the concerts, or if you’re interested in becoming a Silver Tones member, call 772.569.0760 ext. 119 or visit www.SeniorResourceAssociation.org.
