Savor the Season with United Way’s Annual Citrus Sale

Vero Beach, November 14, 2023 – Embrace the spirit of giving this holiday season by participating in the eagerly awaited United Way Citrus Sale. Local citrus growers and packers are generously contributing their renowned Indian River citrus to support the impactful community initiatives spearheaded by United Way of Indian River County.  

Running from Monday, November 27, 2023, starting at 9:00 AM, until Friday, December 1, 2023, at 3:00 PM, this week-long sale allows you to spread the joy by sending the gift of Florida’s citrus to your loved ones while contributing to essential local services. Secure your orders conveniently online at UnitedWayIRC.org/citrus-sale or by phone at (772) 203-5766.  

Choose from the finest Navel oranges or Ruby Red grapefruit, available in small boxes at $43.00 or large boxes at $58.00. The cost includes shipping. Please note that fruit varieties cannot be mixed.  

Sydney Mihailoff, Relationship Development Manager, expressed gratitude for the enduring partnership with local citrus houses. “It’s a collaboration we deeply value, and we look forward to bringing this annual fundraiser to the public every year,” Mihailoff remarked. All proceeds directly support the various programs and services championed by United Way Indian River County.  

Payments can be made in cash, check, or credit card. The citrus will be shipped via UPS on Monday, December 4, 2023, ensuring a timely delivery of the fresh produce. Kindly note that fruit is not available for immediate pickup upon ordering. Remember, all orders must be placed before 3:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2023.
