The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Awards and Installation of Board Luncheon in the Tiffany Room at Capt Hirams Resort, Sebastian, on October 10, 2023. The Chamber honored business leaders in the community that have demonstrated through involvement and action their belief in the SRACC Mission Statement. The awards awarded were as follows:
- 2023 Chamber Member of the Year presented to Micky Decker, A Better Solution Insurance Services.
- 2023 Director’s Award Presented to Bob Morgan, Marine Bank and Dawn Biehl, Tiki Bar & Grill.
- 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year Award was presented to Anthony Castaldi, MSMD Perceptions, LLC
- 2023 Beautification & Renovation Award was presented to Kathleen & Roger Birt, Woody’s Bar-B-Q
- 2023 Chamber Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Paula Sue Barker, Mac Evoy Real Estate Co.
- 2023 Tourism Award was presented to Capt. Bob Montuoro of Capt. Bob’s Airboat Adventure Tours
- 2023 Ambassador of the Year was presented to Cindy Williams, Primerica Financial Services
- The Chairman’s Award for 2023 was presented to Nichole Johanson, Mel Fisher’s Treasure Museum
- The Posthumous Lifetime Achievement & Community Service Award was presented to Steven Lulich, Lulich & Attorneys. For his dedication as an SRACC Board of Director Member and his commitment to not only the chamber, but the local community.
